The First International Ethnofuturistic Fashion Festival "Finno-Ugri: Art Style" was organized in Syktyvkar, Komi Republic, on Nov. 2006.  Komi Republic, Republic of Mariy El, Mordovia, Chuvashia, Udmurtia, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Murmansk and Perm regions, Hungary delegations took place.
At the Folk Fashion Show over 50 designers presented their about 70 collections based on traditional Finno-Ugric national folk styles.
The Show combined fashion parade, traditional folk music and national dance groups appearance.  The most interesting model seemed to be the original costume, the dress handmade in 18th century in Izhva region of the Komi Republic.
