Folk ethno ensemble "Parma"

One of the most interesting collective is included into the state of National music drama theatre of the Komi republic. That is the folk ethno ensemble "Parma". It is famous for playing the traditional Komi musical instruments: polyans, chipsans, sigudoks, brungans, vargans. Alive singing, playing the Komi folk musical instruments, costumes and dances create the essential atmosphere for the people to come into the world of the traditional music, traditions and beliefs.
The ensemble tries to unite the old musical tradition with popular rhythms, to integrate ones in a single whole.
The ensemble "Parma" is known not only on the territory of the republic, but also abroad: Finland, Estonia, Poland, Bulgaria and Norway.
The album consists of the 2 CDs. The first includes folk songs and the second – songs of the Komi composers of this collective's repertoire.
